Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 2 tsp corn starch
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp soy sauce

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp pepper flakes

Other

  • 1 lb groundmeat (chicken, pork)
  • 6 oz Shitake Mushrooms
  • 2 celery stalks or green pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 scallions (white part)

Instructions

  1. Coat ground meat in marinade and set aside for 15 minutes
  2. Stir fry meat in 1 tbsp oil for 3 to 4 minutes, set aside
  3. stir fry vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes
  4. add scallions and garlic and stir for 30 seconds - until fragrant
  5. return meat and add sauce
  6. stir to coat in sauce and plate
  7. serve with washed lettuce leaves and hoisen sauce
