Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients
Marinade
- 2 tsp corn starch
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
Sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp pepper flakes
Other
- 1 lb groundmeat (chicken, pork)
- 6 oz Shitake Mushrooms
- 2 celery stalks or green pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 scallions (white part)
Instructions
- Coat ground meat in marinade and set aside for 15 minutes
- Stir fry meat in 1 tbsp oil for 3 to 4 minutes, set aside
- stir fry vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes
- add scallions and garlic and stir for 30 seconds - until fragrant
- return meat and add sauce
- stir to coat in sauce and plate
- serve with washed lettuce leaves and hoisen sauce
