Ceel’s Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 2-¼ cup flour
- ½ cup cocoa
- about 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons soda (level)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup black coffee
Instructions
- Place flour, cocoa, sugar, soda, salt, buttermilk, oil and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and mix for two or three minutes.
- Then add eggs and beat well.
- Last add the cup of boiling water or coffee. Batter will be very thin.
- Pour into a greased and floured pan 13 x 9 x 2.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
