Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 2 packages yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Raise 25 minutes, prebake 10 minutes, 425 degrees

- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oil

'Deep Dish' Pizza Sauce
Ingredients
- onion
- oregano
- salt
- sugar
- big can of crushed tomatoes
- fresh basil
- olive oil
Instructions
sauté onion, oregano, and salt until the onion is golden brown;
add some garlic, a little sugar, and then a big can of crushed tomatoes.
After simmering all of this for a good half-hour, add fresh basil, and plop in some olive oil
Add to pizza
'Fresh' Pizza Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- big can of Cento - San Marzano whole tomatoes
- 2 tbs fresh basil
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 large clove garlic
Instructions
smash tomatoes by hand;
mix in ingredients
strain to remove excess water
add to pizza (uncooked)
